The Libertines have announced that they will reunite for a one-off live show at Hyde Park in London this July.
The band are reuniting as part of the Barclays British Summer Time shows on July 5th. This will be their biggest ever UK show and first live show since they played Reading and Leeds Festival in 2010.
Rumours of the band reuniting have been circulating all week after separate interviews with Pete Doherty and Carl Barat hinting at the possibility of a live show. Doherty said he’d planned of reuniting with the band to cope with ‘financial problems’.
With support from The Pogues, Maximo Park, The Enemy, Swim Deep, Wolf Alice, Darlia, Reverend & The Makers, I Am Kloot, The View, The Twang, The Rifles and Spiritualized.
Tickets for the concert with go on general sale Friday 2nd May from £55 at 9am.
