In addition to its initial wave of acts, Oxfordshire’s Truck Festival has unleashed a full line up, brimming with exciting new bands.
With White Lies and The Cribs set to headline, the festival organisers set up a ‘band app’ in which new bands could apply to perform. Bands such as Peace, Andrew W.K, Los Campesinos!, alongside BBC introducing, Truck themselves and a few others together picked 21 acts from a possible 1200 to perform.
Alongside the new bands, many known names have been added too. A few include: Little Comets, Dan Croll, Superfood, Deap Vally, Blood Red Shoes, Slow Club, Big Deal and Catfish and the Bottlemen. Unfortunately Brighton’s The Wytches have had to pull out.
With a line up bursting with fresh talent and with a helter skelter and Ferris wheel unveiled alongside the carnival theme, its set to be a fun packed weekend.
By way of tickets, the festival is way up on last year’s sales and therefore are looking for a sell out once again.
