Porcelain Raft is the solo project from Mauro Remiddi, a former member of London indie band Sunny Day Sets Fire. Mauro Remiddi’s new chilled out sound is being compared to bands like Beach House, Braids and M83 whom Mauro is touring with along with Youth Lagoon.
‘Unless You Speak From Your Heart’ is the first single from Porcelain Raft and right from the beginning, you’ll have your head bopping to this little pop beat. Along with its psychedelic riff and MGMT-like vocals you’ll be soon hooked on this song if not the whole album.
This shoegaze/dream pop album transports you to a majestic melodic world that you can’t help but drift away to while listening. So if you got a touch of the winter blues, than put on your headphones and relax as the world around you fades softly away.
