Aged at just 17 and 18 years old, Bondax are giving the older producers a run for their money. ‘Baby I Got That’ sounds like something you’d hear in the early hours of the morning on a balcony on some sort of Balearic island; the track is crammed with these “summer vibes” everybody seems to be raving about these days. Soulful vocals, deep bass sounds and even some steel drum action all feature to create this slick funky-house track. With support from Pete Tong, Annie Mac and Mary Anne Hobbs at Xfm, it seems that we’ll be hearing a lot more of the Lancaster-based duo. The track will feature alongside the b-side “It’s You” on the duos latest release via their own label Just Us / Relentless Recordings.
