Four Tet is probably one of the more recognised artists of the post-dub movement, and following a steady string of releases since his 2010 album There Is Love In You he now brings us ‘128 harps’. ‘128 Harps’ is quite an upbeat song, with soft dub vibes played over repeating percussion before breaking into light harp and vocal samples.
As per usual, Four Tet is at the forefront of his genre with ‘128 Harps’ returning to his more experimental work. A quite brilliant song, that will no doubt please his loyal fans and also attract first time listeners. It’s easy to see why he is such a respected producer and 128 Harps is definitely worth a listen.
